In this B&H video Mia McCormick (from Kelby Training) discuss a whole range of accessories that can make your life a lot simpler when it comes to shooting HDSLR in the field.
There are a lot of things to consider when shooting video with your DSLR outdoors. Strong lighting could be an issue so an ND filter is something that you will definitely want to get (see a few of our videos on using ND filters), a shoulder rig (you can check out a few options we covered here in the past), an optical viewfinder for your LCD ( McCormick mentions the $124 Kinotehnik LCDVF Digital SLR Viewfinder), some sort of a sound recorder that is not your built in mic (either an external shotgun mic or an external recorder with its own mic – you can check out our sound recording video section here on LensVid for more info).
