Quick How-To Guide: Manual Focusing with Digital Reflex Cameras

Zeiss (until recently Carl Zeiss) makes manual focus lenses (as well as some some AF lenses with Sony and for mirrorless cameras). This video is a quick and simple guide to show you what is the right way to shoot with these type of lenses (although obviously not just Zeiss lenses) on DSLR cameras. One thing which can really be helpful and Zeiss has been recommending it for years is a focusing screen with split-screen indicator these were used back in the analog camera days and were quite useful and we can say from our own experience that if you do use a lot of manual focus lenses its a good idea to try and use these type of focusing screens as they can really help with accurate and fast focusing.
