Cinevate Hedron Slider Overview

Earlier this year Cinevate released a new slider system called Hedron. This new high end unit was released together with several interesting accessories.

On the first video – above – Dennis Wood from Cinevate explains some of the features of the new slider which can easily be considered a “premium” slider (with 100 lbs/45 kg weight capacity). The Hedron comes in 4 versions – from 24 to 60 inches long. Pricing for the Hedron starts at start at $799, with the optional Fly-wheel (see below) going for an extra $399 and the Counter-balance for another $599. If you are interested in the motion control unit it will start at at $1199 (targeting the entire rig close to the top of the professional video market).
