Introducing: Edelkrone SliderPLUS V2

The Turkish HDSLR and video manufacturer Edelkrone recently released the second version of its popular SliderPLUS (known simply as SliderPLUS V2). This unique slider can extend beyond its own length using an ingenious ball bearing extending system.

The new version 2 of the SliderPLUS  has a new external design as well as an all new black finish. More importantly, the new version is also supposed to be quieter to operate (using quieter Delrin wheels).

The video above was shot using the new SliderPLUS and you can see the slider in action in some of the shots (you can also see an official into video here).

The shorter version of the SliderPLUS (the 1.3 ft) will cost you around $500 and the medium version (the 2ft) will cost $600. Edelkrone  is also working on a long version of the slider to be released later on (more info can be found on the product webpage).
