Gregory Heisler: 50 Portraits

Gregory Heisler is a recurring character in LensVid’s videos. Heisler is a professional photographer, student of Arnold Newman and one of the most well know portrait photographers and magazine photographers of the past two decades working on many of the covers of TIME magazine.

On this extensive lecture held in February, 2013 in NYC done as a part of an exhibition of forty-three large prints from his new book, “50 Portraits: Stories and Techniques from a Photographer’s Photographer”, Heisler talks about many images he had taken over the years, his style of work and many stories surrounding his pictures.
