Lava Light – Water & Fire

Photographers CJ Kale and Nick Selway from Lava Light located in Hawaii have one of the most remarkable and unique views of an active volcanos in the world just a few hours drive from their homes. The following video from photo-sharing site SmugMug bring their story and some of their breathtaking images.

White sands, blue skies and amazing waves together with super hot Lava is a dramatic combination the can’t fail to produce amazing images. In the hands of the Lava Light folks the constantly changing Hawaiian landscape does indeed turn into astonishing images. However standing so close to an active volcano on land and underwater is both physically grueling and oftentimes dangerous, but its exactly this danger that keeps them coming for more.
