Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 – a Look at the New Content-Aware Improvements

We continue our coverage of Adobe’s big announcement this week and today we bring you Howard Pinsky‘s look at the improvements Adobe added to Photoshop CC 2014.

So what is new with content aware in Photoshop CC 2014? As you can see in the video Pinsky start by showing what happens when he tries to remove an object with a gradient background – and the result is less than perfect. In Photoshop CC 2014 on the other hand you have a new function called “color adaptation” which help improve the result (its still not 100% in all cases, but it is better).

Another change related to content aware appears when using the patch tool is the adaptation options (in the top bar) – you can now choose both structure ranging from 1-5 plus color – ranging from 1-10).
