Creating a Vintage Cross Processed Image Look in Lightroom

This video by Pye from slrlounge takes a look at a vintage style cross processed image using Adobe Lightroom.

Vintage images are characterized by deep shadows and blow highlights and this is part of the adjustments that Pye illustrates in this tutorial as well as reverse saturation taking saturation down and vibrance up which has an effect of enhancing some of the colors and reducing others.

We have already looked at making “vintage style” images in the past – for example on Aaron Nace video tutorial – How to Make a Vintage Photo.
