Cropping in Photoshop CC and CS6

On this video photographer Gavin Hoey demonstrates some of the features of the Photoshop CC cropping tool.

Photoshop CC brought some changes to the cropping tool which includes many useful features. The most interesting tip Hoey gives in this video was the option to use the cropping mode W x H x Resolution (which allows you to crop according to a specific resolution – something that you can’t do in Photoshop CC by default).

We have already covered cropping several times in the past here on LensVid including “tips for cropping & straightening photos in Photoshop” with Photoshop senior product manager Bryan O’Neil Hughes and a 5 min crash course on cropping in Lightroom with Andrew Childress.

You can find many more Photoshop video tutorials on LensVid’s Photoshop section.
