This video tutorial by Aaron Nace from Phlearn takes a look at how to combine a few images into one in Photoshop in a realistic way.
Compositing isn’t something new. Despite what many people might think, techniques for compositing images were used during the film area. These days mosts compositing is done using software and is much simpler although there are still quite a few things you need to learn how to do in order to make a persuasive composite image – and this is exactly what this video is all about.
We have been looking at compositing a few times in the past here on LensVid including on “Compositing in Photoshop: an In-Depth Look” by photographer Gavin Hoey and “Behind the Scenes Compositing: A Dark Force” by Nace himself.
