How To Fix Pet Eyes In Photoshop

On this video Photoshop senior product manager Bryan O’Neil Hughes takes a quick look at at two things which are pretty simple to do automatically on Adobe Photoshop Elements, but are a bit more tricky to do using Adobe Photoshop.

The first thing Hughes looks at is fixing red eye in pets (or actually animals – he uses an image of a lioness as an example). Fixing animals eyes is different than fixing red-eye on people as the color of the eye is different. As you can see in the video, the process of fixing the eye is much more manual in Photoshop although it typically should not take more than a few minutes.

The second (completely unrelated thing and slightly funny) is adding “thought bubbles” to your images (not exactly serious image retouching, but maybe you might run into some sort of use for that).
