There are all sorts of ways to match color across your subject. On this video Woloszynowicz  uses selective color adjustment layer to demonstrate a simple and intuitive way to match color in Photoshop.

Woloszynowicz  also demonstrate how to match the face with the rest of the body using a few quick adjustments as part of the tutorial.
