How to Quickly Correct Red Skin Color in Photoshop

On this quick video tutorial by Aaron Nace from Phlearn we look at a problem we face many times when shooting portraits – red skin color – and see how we can remove it using  Photoshop.

Nace demonstrates how to fix a little bit of red in the nose on the image. He uses a hue saturation adjustment layer and by choosing just the reds and pinpointing to the trouble areas he can correct the skin color and changes it – making it closer to the rest of the image.

In the past we have looked at many ways of correcting skin issues in Photoshop including “How to Fix Shiny Skin in Photoshop“.
