Quick Tip – How to Recover Shadow Detail from your Image in Photoshop

On this video by Aaron Nace from Phlearn we look at a few simple tricks that will help you recover as many shadow details as possible from your image using  Adobe Photoshop.

Most of the time we try and recover shadows and highlights using camera RAW, however in some cases we do not have a RAW file or don’t want to use it for some reason. This tutorial takes a look at a different technique to recover those details from within Photoshop.

This is not the first time that Nace looks at this topic – in the past we already brought to you a video he recorded on how to enhance details from shadows in Photoshop. The current video end with another nice tip on how to add a lighting effect in a few seconds.
