Best Clothes for Winter Photography

On this video photographer Steve Neidorf (from UltimatePhotoGuide) give a number of important tips for preparing shooting day outside in a cold winter.

Neidorf gives examples of different clothing options many of them are relevant for other outdoor activities as well such as fishing, hunting or even hiking in a cold climate. Among other things Neidorf  mentions shooting gloves with removable covers or fleece gloves with conductive fingertips for use on touchscreen devices (included in some of the latest camera models and all smartphones). Other pieces of clothing mentioned in the video include fleece and CORDURA jackets that will keep you warm and stop strong winds from freezing you up as well as a balaclava full cover for your head and wind or ski pants to keep your legs warm and dry.
