How To Bounce Your Flash

On this video photographer Tony Northrup shares a few tips on how to use an external flash to bounce light in a way that will help you get the best image of your subject indoors.

Using your camera’s built in flash can result in some harsh and unfaltering light. Using an external flash and bouncing it wither from the ceiling or from the ceiling and one of the walls can result in a much more even and soft lighting.
