Tips for Shooting an Engagement Sessions

New York-based photographer Ryan Brenizer shot this video with B&H to explain his methods for doing engagement photo shoots and the importance of using these sessions as a means to build trust and comfort with a couple before their wedding.

Brenizer talks about his work but also demonstrate and give a short glimpse into a real work including lots of tips about the time of day, places, poses and much more.

  1. I have found that make jokes tends to lighten the moods and break the tension of even the most nervous couples because it feels more like you are just walking around with friends who are taking your photos rather than with a photographer you just met.
