Tony Corbell: Mastering Portrait Lighting – One Light Setup

This extensive webinar by Joe Brady (from MAC-On- Campus) brings pro photographer and lighting expert Tony Corbell who talks and later demonstrates working with a single light for portraits in a studio environment.

Lots of photographers may go through an entire career without working with  studio lighting. On this video Corbell tries to put to rest the myth that studio lighting is a scary and shows how easy it can be to get beautiful results with some very simple tips using only one light.

Corbell also explores different poses, both standing and sitting, working with one main light and adding a reflector as a fill.

We have already seen some videos looking at a one light setup including “How to Shoot Studio Portrait with One Light & White Wall” with Mark Wallace we published here last year.

You can check out some of Brady’s previous videos here as well as many more helpful photography tips on our Photography tips section here on and  LensVid.
