First Look at the Canon EOS 80D

Canon introduced today several new products including the new EOS 80D – mid range DSLR which will be the successor to the 70D. The company also introduced a new Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens and an interesting accessory for the lens – Canon PZ-E1 Power Zoom Adaptor. Finally the company added a new advanced compact camera – the Canon PowerShot G7 X II.

The new EOS 80D

Besides the sensor it looks like Canon mostly worked on improving the AF system and metering as the rest of the camera seems very similar to the old EOS 70D.
