NAB 2017 has closed last week but we still have many interesting products to share with you from that show and this time around we have a special data backup solution from the Koream manufacturer NEXTO called DI NCB-20.
In the short interview above by Johnnie Behiri from cinema5D, Larry from NEXTO talks about the DI NCB-20 which allows a user to download images and videos from several memory cards into an external hard drive on the go without the need for a computer.
There will be several versions of this card batcher supporting different card types (SD, micro-SD, CFast, XQD, SXS,P2,RED etc.) most of them with 4 slots apart from the SD version (with 4 SD and 4 micro SD) and the RED with 3 slots.
The unit can be powered using USB (external battery), V-mount battery or from AC. It is connected to an external HDD using USB 3.0 (there are two of them) and a 2.4″ display and a very simple operation with a single button.
Pricing will range from $500-$1500 depending on the specific model.

We have covered NEXTO’s products in the past when we did a review of their ND2901 Memory Backup Unit a few years back.
We will be looking into several monitors in the near future so stay tuned for that. If you don’t want to miss any new photography product be sure to check out our product photography section. Also – check out our NAB 2017 coverage – here.
