MindShift Rotation 180 Trail First Review

Camera bag manufacturer MindShift recently announced 2 new camera bags from its Rotation 180 line. Photographer Dan Carr had a chance to review the more interesting of the two – the MindShift Rotation 180 Trail and came back with some thoughts.

Mindshift Gear was founded in California in 2012 as a daughter company of of the well known photography gear manufacturer ThinkTank. The company concentrates on outdoor photography bags with its unique rotation mechanism which you can see in the video (we tested it ourselves and you will be able to read about our very positive experience on the upcoming MindShift Rotation 180 Panorama review coming to LensVid next week).

The MindShift Rotation 180 Trail

MindShift-Rotation-180-Trail

The MindShift Rotation 180 Trail us a bit smaller than the MindShift Rotation 180 Panorama with similar design (although a bit longer a narrower) but it lacks the option to add an insert in the upper compartment for extra gear. It does have an improved water carrying system though and it is probably better suited for photographers with relatively little photo gear.

You can read the entire review by Carr on his blog. The full specs of the Rotation 180 Trail can be found on the MindShift website. Exact pricing is unclear at this point but will be below $180.
