Flying Eagle Point of View

An unknown user on Youtube called Srachi recently published this video shot using a camera (probably GoPro) from the back of  an eagle. The video was shot in the Chamonix, Mer De Glace – one of the most beautiful in France close to the Swiss and Italian border. Despite ending abruptly, the video received well over 4 million views.

Although this might seem groundbreaking (or at least breathtaking), scientists have actually been using cameras to shoot birds in flight for a long time – check out the short BBC video below:
