The Photographer Series: Jonathan Mehring

Andrew Notron is a skateboard photographer who worked at SBC Skateboard magazine in Canada as a staff photographer and an editor for about five years. Recently he decided to branch out and do some more multimedia work. Norton decided to create a documentary series of videos about unique skateboard photographers (now called “The Photographer Series”) which he published on vimeo.

LensVid had a quick talk with Norton recently where he mentioned that “he have always wanted to pick the brains of photographers whose work he grew up putting on my walls. What makes them tick and what are the stories behind the photos [they captured]”.

On the current video, Notron brings the story of Jonathan Mehring – who traveled all over the world in the pursuit of his next skateboard picture.
