3 Ways of Changing Makeup Color In Photoshop CC

New Orleans based commercial photographer Lance Nicoll looks at different ways to change the color of the makeup on a models face using Photoshop.

The first method for changing makeup color will be using adjustment curves. By creating a mask of the area that you would like to change and than applying an adjustment curve and playing with specific colors you can easily change the color of the makeup to whatever color you want.

The next option is going to be the channel mixer as it will be applied to the makeup layer mask. Finally you can use the hue/saturation adjustment layer.

In all methods you will be using the blending mode and you will be able to play with the opacity to determine how strong you would like the color to be.

Changing colors in Photoshop is a very popular topic which we covered here extensively (Nace himself published several videos on the subject which we had here).
