Hair Selections Using the New Affinity Photo Software

On this video, Photoshop expert Howard Pinsky shows you how you can do hair selections with the new (currently free) beta of the Affinity Photo software.

Only a few days ago we published the first video of what is promised to be an alternative for Adobe Photoshop (currently for MAC users only) called Affinity Photo (see here). The software was created by Serif, a U.K. company founded in 1987 that has been developing different inexpensive alternative for graphic software for decades. Affinity Photo is it’s latest attempt at creating a pro graphic software for advanced photographers.

Pinsky had a chance to play a bit with the software (again currently in beta) and he decided to demonstrate how a very important functionality – i.e. hair selection, works on Affinity Photo so that you can decide for yourselves if the software claim to be as good (and possibly better) than Photoshop is true.

If you are into Adobe alternatives – you might want to read our quick review of Mylio – an alternative to Lightroom, we published a few months ago.

You can check out more of Pinsky’s videos here on LensVid as well as many more Photoshop related tutorials on  LensVid’s Photoshop section. As always you can find many image editing related videos on LensVid’s Photo editing section.
