How to Evaluate Exposure in Adobe Photoshop

This video by the guys from the hhcolorlab takes a look at several ways for evaluating exposure in Photoshop using different tools.

What is particularly interesting with some of these methods is that you don’t necessarily need to have a calibrated display (we always recommend that you check your screen periodically and make sure it is calibrated – but this is something that not everybody are doing and sometime it is impossible to do for different reasons).

This video relies on understanding the image histogram – if you don’t know how to read a histogram we highly recommend watching “How to Read an Image Histogram“.
