How to Use Content Aware when Editing Videos in Photoshop

In this video Howard Pinsky takes a look at the fascinating idea to use one of Photoshop’s most powerful new tools – content aware for videos. Since videos are basically just a stream of still images (24/30/60 in each second), you could – theoretically go every each and every one of them and change or fix something.

Of course this is a laborious work that nobody will ever do manually (unless its a very short video).  Pinsky however has a technique that can allow you do bypass this issue by fixing the entire video at once using camera raw. However – keep in mind that this will only work for very specific situations (the camera needs to be completely steady and so does the object you fix in the frame.

It will be interesting to see if in the future – we will be see video editing software that have the ability to do this on a moving subject and even when the camera itself isn’t fixed.
