Turn Summer into Winter – Adding Snow in Photoshop

On this extensive video Photoshop expert Jesús Ramirez (from the Photoshop training channel) demonstrates how to turn an image of a summer cabin into a snowy winter one in Photoshop.

Although turning a summer into a winter image might not be your cup of tea, there are quite a few things to learn and several interesting and useful techniques demonstrated in this video including using adjustments layers, filters and custom brushes to achieve the final effect.

This isn’t the first time we look at adding snow into your image in Photoshop, in the past we looked at a tutorial from Aaron Nace who also demonstrated how to add snow to your image using the power of Photoshop. If you are more into creating real snow for your shots – make sure you watch this video on making your own DIY snow.
