How To Use Content-Aware Scale In Photoshop

On this basic video tutorial Aaron Nace from Phlearn explains how to use the (relatively new) content aware scale and the warp tool in Photoshop CC..

There are cases where you need to expend your image to one or more directions (for example to add text or even just to change the composition of an image).

As we discussed in a previous video (also by Nace) on this subject, the content ware scale (Edit>content aware scale) is a pretty straight forward type of tool it will (sort of) stretch your image but will use content aware and preserve the main part of your image from stretching and fill the rest. You have a few options for amount and protect which is one of the most powerful parts of the content aware scale.
