How to Batch Resize Images in Photoshop in 2 Minutes
On this video tutorial, Aaron Nace from Phlearn takes a look at a way to resize multiple images using Photoshop easily and quickly.
Doing a batch resizing is ideal for when you have a bunch of images which you want to resize (for example to send via e-mail or some other webs service and you can’t or don’t need to send the full-size images).
Nace uses an action in Photoshop (window->actions) open an image and make a new folder and record. Now you can change the size of an image and save the image. After you stop the action you go to file>automate>batch and here you will choose the action and choose a folder with all of the images you want to resize and a destination and that is it!
There are many other tools that can help you resize multiple images quickly. We actually prefer the built-in tool on the free FastStone Image Viewer software (our recommended image viewer for years), and we might do a similar video showing how to use this tool in the future.
