5 Top Camera DIY Part (Plus Microphone Mounting Tips)

Filmaker Scott Eggleston has a love for low budget accessories and he is also an avid DIYer. On this video he shares 5 of his top parts that can be very useful for any potential photography or videography DIYer out there.

So here are Eggleston’s 5 (plus a few extra ones) most usable parts – below we also added some of our parts in an image (some of the parts are similar, but some we have found after quite a bit of searching, and you will meet a few of these and some others on a number of our upcoming DIY videos here on LensVid).

Here are some of our “magic camera DIY tool kit” that we have been collecting and you can see all sorts of different 1/4″ 20, 3/8″ and other useful parts – if you are interested in knowing what is any specific part – just ask (almost all are from ebay by the way)

CoonectorsBonus video: Caleb Pike from DSLR Video Shooter showing 5 creative ways to mount microphones (check out the parts here):

Be sure to watch Eggleston “How to Make a DIY PVC Light Stand for Under $5“. You can also check out many more interesting DIY photography projects here on LensVid.
