Filmaker Scott Eggleston has a love for low budget accessories and he is also an avid DIYer. On this video he shares 5 of his top parts that can be very useful for any potential photography or videography DIYer out there.
So here are Eggleston’s 5 (plus a few extra ones) most usable parts – below we also added some of our parts in an image (some of the parts are similar, but some we have found after quite a bit of searching, and you will meet a few of these and some others on a number of our upcoming DIY videos here on LensVid).
- mini ball head
- 1/4-20″ to camera shoe adapter (male).
- Camera shoe receptacle.
- 1/4-20″ coupler (female-to-female).
- Combo camera shoe adapter/coupler deal
- 1/4-20″ male-to-male adapter
- Neoprene fender washer (1/4″ hole) – find them on a local hardware store.
- 7″ magic arm clone.
- 11″ magic arm clone.
