On the video above the Fuji guys takes a look at the latest 3.0 version of the X-T1 mirrorless camera announced late in 2014.
In mid December Fujifilm announced a new firmware version for the X-T1 and and X-T1 Silver. One main new function of the ver 3.0 is the electronic shutter which goes up to 1/32,000 – an ideal feature in some very bright lighting conditions. This also gives you a completely silent camera (!). Another addition is the customization of the Q button (the X-T1 is already one of the most customizable cameras we know). There are also new filter modes.
In the video mode you have the new option to manually adjust the video as well a few more options (mic monitoring). One of the biggest additions in our view is the option to change the arrows so they can change the focus directly (instead of heaving to choose this mode each time (a real time saver). These are just a few of the many important changes and improvements listed in the full video above and it is nice to see Fujifilm doing this for its existing users instead of just pushing new bodies to the market.
