HDSLR Basics – Shooting Videos with a DSLR Camera

On this Adorama Video, photographer Mark Wallace explained and demonstrates some of the basic concepts of shooting video with an HDSLR (or HD SLR) cameras. Wallace talks about how the shutter used to work in film cameras and goes to explain why this is relevant for us on the digital age. He also explains and demonstrates the problem of rolling shutter and shows how to use depth of field as a tool in video production.
