During CES 2014 Sony introduced a new mirrorless camera – the A5000. Although this look like a NEX series camera it isn’t – that is because Sony decided to kill the NEX series and move to an all Alpha naming system. Other than the name – this camera is basically an update to the NEX 3R with a 20MP sensor, WIFI+NFC and a flip 460K dot display.
The guys from BWOne had a chance to play around with the camera which you can see on the video above. The camera should be available this Marc for around $600 (you can pre-order it on Amazon right now).
