On this video, photographer Jimmy McIntyre looks at 5 ways for removing those annoying chromatic aberration (CA) from images in Photoshop.
So here are the five methods McIntyre demonstrates in this video:
1. Adobe Camera RAW or Lightroom lens corrections
2. Gaussian Blur and Color Blend Mode
3. Clone Color
4. Lens Corrections filter
5. Desaturation
You can also use McIntyre’s own add-on for Photoshop called Raya Pro which cost between $30 and $90 depending on the exact version (here is a video he published on the add-on) but as you can see you can do everything (maybe a bit slower) with just Photoshop.
In the past we have looked at how to remove chromatic aberrations in Lightroom and you can check that video on this link and using Camera Raw – see here.
