Headshot Retouch Tutorial In Photoshop

On this video tutorial by portrait photographer Nathaniel Dodson (from the website tutvid) takes us through a retouch session of a headshot in Photoshop.

Dodson goes through all the different stages of the retouch process starting from Camera RAW including making sure that the background is 100% pure white (as is the case in this image). Next he goes to Photoshop itself and remove specific blemishes.

Dodson work extensively on the eyes and use many different techniques and tools including dodge and bun, high pass, selective color adjustment and many more. There is a lot of information in this video for more advanced photographers/image editors and you might want to watch this video more than once and stop and re-watch specific parts.
