How to Quickly Remove Perspective and Barrel Distortion in Photoshop

On this video, photographer Jimmy McIntyre looks at two Photoshop tools for removing perspective issues from images.

Perspective and Barrel distortion are two very common problems that you can find on many images and on this video McIntyre shows a simple method using the distort tool on an interior house image.

The second fix that he demonstrates is a little more complex and uses the Adaptive Wide Angle tool (under the filter menu). McIntyre shows how to work with this tool which isn’t exactly perfect but he gives the best way to use the tool in order to get optimal results.

If you happen to be working with Lightroom – this video can show you how to fix perspective as well.
