Creating Simple DIY Lights and a look at Tripods for Video

On this video, Ryan Connolly from Film Riot  takes take a look at two topics – the first is a simple inexpensive way to create your own LED light and the other is a look at a few useful tripods (and heads) for video.

A few weeks ago we published a previous video done by Connolly on a simple DIY Ring Light project with LEDs which uses the MOSAIC Flexible Light that you can buy in Amazon for about $52. This video is an even simpler project using the same LEDs – very simple – very straightforward.

The second part of this video talks about tripods and in this case Connolly’s go to tripods (and heads). Tripods are a subject we covered many many times in the past and you can find a whole list of tripod related videos, buying guides and tutorials on this LensVid tripod page.

By the way – if you find anybody online that can speak clearly as fast as Connolly and still make (more or less) perfect sense – feel free to share a link in the comments below.
