There are not too many UHS-II memory card readers on the market and sadly some of the few existing ones are not very attractive when it comes to professional work. Delkin just introduced a new fast and rugged card reader – part of the Black series you see above.
The new reader called the “Delkin Black USB 3.0 Rugged Memory Card Reader” supports both SD UHS-II, microSD UHS-II and CF cards with UDMA 7. The reader has a max official transfer speed of 500MB/s (the actual speed is likely slower and depends on your card and your computer).

The unit is rugged – just like the Black memory card series which you can see in the crush test above and it also come with a rubberised cover.
For some reason these will only be sold through authorized camera stores in the US and in Europe, and are not available online (we are unsure at this point what pricing this reader will have).
