Exclusive: Manfrotto Lumie – a New Tiny LED System With Built in Batteries

Almost completely under the radar, Manfrotto introduced a new and interesting little line of LED lights with built in batteries called – Lumie – here is a first look.

It might sound strange that such an interesting product line is announced without any media attention, however Manfrotto were never very strong when it comes to PR. At any rate, the Manfrotto Lumie is a line of (currently) 3 LED products – all small enough to carry in any type of photo bag.

The only thing that we don’t know (and we are trying to figure our with Manfrotto) is pricing. If priced currently these tiny units can be a real hit and a very useful tool for many types of photographers who require small portable lights, with accurate colors and a built in battery.
