Light Stands Guide – Which is The Right One for You?

If you are working a lot in the studio and looking for a good light stand that will last you a long time –  photographer Mark Wallace (in this video for Adorama) has some useful tips for you from his experience in the studio.

His workhorse light stand is the Matthews Baby Junior Triple Riser Stand with Wheels (which cost around $250 on Amazon, and about the same on B&H and Adorama). if this is too rich for your blood you can get a C-stand which are still better than your cheap conventional 3 leg light stand (and can cost half as much or even less depending on the exact brand.
