Behind the Scenes Compositing: A Dark Force

This video tutorial by Aaron Nace from Phlearn takes a look behind the scenes at a photo shoot called “A Dark Force” (star wars fans rejoice).

The entire project revolves around composting and using a green screen – something that is becoming an industry standard – learning how to create composites is a useful and important tool for any photographer or graphic editor.

The video itself is part of a larger project Phlearn have been working on to teach composting from the ground up and this video is a good first taste of what this technique can bring to the table.

We have been looking at compositing a few times in the past here on LensVid including on “Compositing in Photoshop: an In-Depth Look” by photographer Gavin Hoey.
