Godox Lightflow Reflector System Hands On (IBC 2023) A new reflector system from Godox

During IBC 2023 last month, Godox showcased for the first time its upcoming LiteFlow reflector system which might look similar to some other rigid reflector/mirror systems, however, it has a few small but important differences.

Godox Lightflow Reflector System

During IBC 2023 we had a chance to talk to Lester from Godox who showed us the LiteFlow reflector currently under development. This system comes in different sizes and different strengths

We have been using the LightBridge CRLS reflector system for several years which looks fairly similar to the Godox Lightflow. The Godox system has edge protectors which are very welcome (one of our CRLS units fell and its corner bent), another difference is the connector which is made from metal instead of plastic (LightBridge has their explanation as to why they use plastic – we still prefer metal but what we would really like to see is cost reduction as these connectors are ridiculously expensive at the moment). The Godox connector is also threaded allowing to connect it to many other gripping accessories such as arms.

Pricing and availability

At the moment there is still no pricing but from what we understand the Godox system is going to be extremely competitive compared to the competition and should be available in around 2 months time.
