During IBC 2024, we talked to Brandon Petersen from Kondor Blue and saw the company’s newly developed matte box system.
Kondor Blue 4×5 Advanced Matte Box System
First shown at NASB 2024, earlier this year the new matte box from Kondor Blue is promised to be one of the most versatile on the market with many modular options and a huge attention to detail.
The system is based around 4×5 filters that Kondor Blue will offer as well (separately), stackable filter trays with captive screws all around (so you will never lose another screw). The trays have an easy grab and rubber number on the top and some more advanced features.
There are a huge number of small but important details like rubber numbs, bubble level, magnetic carbon Top flag, and safety braid loop as well as an optional holder for the DJI laser AF system, filter tags, top flag, side flags, and much more.
