How to Fix Old Scanned Photos in Photoshop

On this basic video Photoshop expert Jesús Ramirez (from the Photoshop training channel) takes a look at what you can do with some common and simple issues you might run into when bringing old photos into the digital age with Photoshop.

If you have old images in your drawer you might want to scan them and bring them to the digital age. The problem is that you might want to fix some aspects of these old photos (which do not always look that amazing on the computer – especially if they were taken a long time ago). In the video Ramirez looks at some common fixes including cropping, rotating noise reduction and more – very simple fixes – most of them can be done automatically or very simply manually to improve those old images.

If you are into scanning old images – you might want to take a look at this interesting video we published a few years ago about using a DSLR camera to scan old photos.
