More and more of us shoot HD video (or even 4K video) these days and on occasion we might like to extract a single still image (to use as a cover of for other reasons). Taking a screenshot is not the best option. Instead there are other more practical and better quality ways of doing that and Hughes demonstrates two of them in the video.
