How to Prepare Your Images for Social Media in Photoshop

In this video photographer Michael Woloszynowicz (from vibrantshot) takes a look at  how to keep your images looking great after resizing them for use on your website or social media sites like Facebook, Google+ or 500px.

Woloszynowicz explains that the best size for Facebook for example will always be 2048 height (if you are using Photoshop CC make sure you choose “preserve details” when you are resizing for best results – this will negate the need to use sharpening later on). In case you don’t have Photoshop CC – Woloszynowicz goes ahead and explains how to best sharpen your resized image for the web.
