The Ultimate Eye Retouching Guide to Photoshop

On this video Colin Smith from PhotoshopCAFE  takes a look at Adobe different aspects of retouching eyes in Photoshop.

On the first quick video Smith creates a hue-saturation adjustment layer in order to fix the tiny blood veins in the eye and applies a healing brush. What you need to keep in mind all the time is that too much retouch in the eyes does not look realistic so always use a new layer and adjust the opacity so you will leave just a bit of the veins visible.

The second video (below) Smith tries to restore the sharp look of the iris which looks almost foggy in the image. He uses some interesting techniques with specific selections (again make sure to bring down your retouches in order to make them more realistic).
