Adjusting Blown Out Whites in Photoshop Elements

On this video Bob Gager, Group Product Manager for Photoshop Elements, demonstrates how to fix blow out whites on a wedding dress using Adobe Photoshop elements.

The most interesting part of this beginner’s video is the use of layers and in particular adjustment layers. Gager uses a level adjustment layer to help with the brightness. Gager also explains how to use a layer mask which is one of the most important and powerful tools on both  Photoshop Elements and Photoshop.

In the past we looked into several other topics in Photoshop elements including how to remove unwanted shadows in Photoshop Elements, how to  remove a double chin using Photoshop ElementsHow to Create an Infrared Effect, how to Add Splashes of Color into a Black and White image in 60 Seconds and what are the main differences between Lightroom and Photoshop elements.
