Black & White Conversion Control in Photoshop

On this video photographer Nino Batista takes a look at his method at advanced conversion a color image into black and white.

There are many different ways of making an image black and white. In this video Batista shows his method which he uses with a specific preset which you can download for free (from here if you never installed an action/preset – it is really simple just watch this short video).

Batista explains each of the steps this preset makes inducing curves and levels and of course the converter for b&w. The nice thing is that it is very easy to play with the preset to adapt it for your specific image including playing with specific colors which in a b&w image gives you better tonal control.
